Stories of craft, process, and the people who shape them.
The Series
Artisans highlights the people behind the craft.
Each story introduces a maker—someone dedicated to their practice, whether rooted in tradition or reimagined for today. We explore their process, their influences, and the journey that shaped their work.
Through short films and written features, we bring you closer to the hands, tools, and ideas behind each creation.
Nominate an Artisan
We feature individuals whose work reflects a sustained commitment to craft.
If you know someone whose practice is defined by care, precision, and a distinct point of view, we invite you to introduce them to us.
Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis. Email us at operations@bluekitepublishing.com
Please include a brief description of their work and why you are recommending them.
We carefully review all submissions, though not all can be featured.
