is the
Symposium?
The Blue Kite Symposium was created to cultivate meaningful literary, cultural, and philosophical dialogue within Korea’s international and English-speaking community.
Inspired by the long tradition of literary salons and public lectures, each symposium features a speaker who shares their work, research, or reflections on literature and culture. The talk is followed by an open discussion and a reception that encourages thoughtful conversation among attendees.
Unlike large conferences, the symposium is intentionally intimate. It is designed as a space where writers, educators, students, and readers can gather not only to listen, but to engage.
